'Absolute joke': Bairstow blasts ECB's decision to snub youngster Hill

Former England wicketkeeper Jonny Bairstow slammed England and the ECB for omitting Yorkshire all-rounder George Hill from the England Lions’ T20 and 50-over squads for November’s West Indies A series. Highlighting Hill’s batting, bowling and fielding abilities, Bairstow called the determination an “Absolute joke!” Hill antecedently earned a Lions call-up successful May 2025 and has taken 178 first-class wickets.
