iQOO contiguous unveiled the iQOO Z11 successful India aft weeks of promo campaigns. However, the Z11 introduced successful India has a plan and specs antithetic from the Z11 disposable successful China and Malaysia. We spent immoderate clip with the Indian mentation of the iQOO Z11, and present are our archetypal impressions.
The Indian iQOO Z11 comes successful a achromatic retail box, including a transparent protective case, immoderate documents, a SIM ejector tool, a charging cable, and a 44W powerfulness adapter.
The Indian iQOO Z11 is built astir a 6.83" curved AMOLED display, protected by Schott Xensation Up glass. The sheet has a 2,800x1,260-pixel resolution, 449 ppi pixel density, and 3,000 nits section highest brightness. We had nary issues speechmaking substance nether beardown sunlight astatine maximum brightness, but one-handed usage whitethorn not beryllium imaginable for everyone fixed the surface size.
That said, the Z11's show besides has Widevine L1 certification - enabling 1080p video streaming successful supported apps - and supports HDR10, HDR10+, and HLG codecs.
Furthermore, the Z11's surface supports 30Hz, 60Hz, 90Hz, 120Hz, and 144Hz refresh rates and offers 3 refresh complaint options successful the Settings menu: Standard (60Hz), Smart adaptation, and High (144Hz).
When you prime High mode, you get an “Apps moving astatine a precocious refresh rate” enactment successful that menu, which lets you prime the apps and games you privation to tally astatine 144Hz. In our acquisition with High mode, the surface refresh complaint stayed astatine 60Hz erstwhile viewing images oregon playing videos and accrued to 120Hz erstwhile interacting with the display.
Smart adaptation mode is fundamentally High mode, but the maximum refresh complaint was 90Hz alternatively of 120Hz. Standard mode kept everything astatine 60Hz.
We ne'er saw the show refresh astatine 30Hz, and iQOO said the 144Hz refresh complaint is lone for gaming. Clash Royale is presently the lone crippled with 144Hz enactment connected the Z11, but it didn't enactment connected our unit, truthful we couldn't verify that claim.
However, we played Call of Duty: Mobile, Dead Trigger 2, and Sky Force: Reloaded connected the Z11, and lone Call of Duty: Mobile ran astatine 60Hz and 60FPS successful Smart adaptation and High modes. We were capable to play Dead Trigger 2 and Sky Force: Reloaded astatine 120Hz and 120FPS successful High mode.
It's besides worthy noting that the iQOO Z11 supports Always-On Display, but it cannot stay ever connected similar the much costly iQOO 15 and iQOO 15R displays, arsenic the Z11's Display mode is missing the "Scheduled" and "All day" options. You lone get 2 options: "Tap surface oregon raise" and "Move telephone slightly." We asked iQOO whether it plans to adhd the missing options to the Z11 successful a aboriginal OTA, but we are yet to person confirmation.
Moving on, the iQOO Z11's show besides has a centered punch-hole for the selfie camera utilizing the 32MP GalaxyCore GC32E1-WA1XA sensor. It has an f/2.0 aperture, an 84° FOV, and tin grounds 4K videos astatine 30 FPS.

Flip the iQOO Z11 around, and you spot a horizontally aligned camera module reminiscent of the 1 we person seen connected immoderate Google Pixel smartphones. iQOO calls this Skyline Design, and it helps forestall the Z11 from wobbling erstwhile utilized connected a level surface.
The camera module houses a superior camera, an ultrawide camera, and a circular flash.

Regardless of the colour exemplary you pick, you get the smartphone with a integrative back, starring to a not-so-premium in-hand experience, which is expected considering the terms and people assemblage - assemblage students. On the upside, the backmost screen does a bully occupation of resisting fingerprint smudges.

The wide bundle acquisition connected the iQOO Z11's Indian exemplary moving OriginOS 6 is akin to what you get from the much costly iQOO 15 and iQOO 15R moving the aforesaid OS. We can't accidental the aforesaid astir performance, though.
The iQOO Z11 isn't arsenic snappy arsenic the iQOO 15 and iQOO 15R, which is expected considering the chipsets powering it. It besides stuttered during mundane use, though not capable to hamper the idiosyncratic experience. We would inactive similar to spot show optimizations from iQOO with aboriginal bundle updates.
The gaming acquisition connected the iQOO Z11 was bully enough, and the smartphone remained reasonably chill adjacent aft prolonged gaming sessions. But again, don't expect it to lucifer the iQOO 15 oregon iQOO 15R's gaming experience.
