Earlier this week, MediaTek announced its latest flagship chipset – the Dimensity 9600 Pro and it turns retired that’s not the lone caller SoC from the maker. The Dimensity 9600M is an upcoming spot that’s bringing immoderate bundle and AI features from the 9600 Pro to a broader conception of flagship phones.
From a hardware perspective, the 9600M is fundamentally a repackaged Dimensity 9500, fabbed connected TSMC’s 3nm N3P process with identical components. The 9600M does get MediaTek’s latest Agentic AI Engine and Dimensity Scheduling Engine, making it much susceptible for AI tasks.
