‘Tenzing’ Review: A Remarkable Adventure That Puts the Audience Right Up on Mount Everest, Along with the First Two Men — One a Sherpa, Overlooked by History — to Scale It

"Tenzing" earns its inspirational fervor, but the crushed it fits into the caller question of mountain-climbing movies is that the director, Jennifer Peedom, an Australian who’s been making documentaries astir mountain-climbing for 18 years, has staged the movie with a you-are-there authenticity that’s breathtaking but ne'er showy. She’s a classicist; this is simply a movie that, successful spirit, you could ideate John Huston oregon Howard Hawks having directed.
