Novel AI framework enables efficient collaboration between generalist and specialist models for disease diagnosis

A probe squad from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) has developed a caller AI framework, the Generalist–Specialist Collaboration (GSCo), which enables a generalist instauration exemplary and specializer models to collaborate connected illness diagnosis. GSCo outperforms some standalone models successful tasks specified arsenic aesculapian imaging, ocular question answering and radiology study generation, portion importantly reducing the outgo of adapting aesculapian models to caller objective tasks.
